The Creative Writing course helps students discover the skills necessary to turn their ideas into practical experiences.

The programme is delivered in two modules designed to give the student the understanding and skills required to turn their creative ideas and thoughts into real deliverables. Whether it be writing or spoken word, rap songs the residents will find a way to express themselves and explore their creativity. They go on to learn the basics of business skills and tools to use in the publishing industry.

The Creative Writing course is open to anyone who is interested in script writing and other creative writing skills, but is particularly relevant to:

• Youth offenders
• Young Adults
• All individuals engaged in Creative Writing and who aspire to a career in Script Writing, Journalism, Publishing and more. The content of the programme requires no skills or qualifications to participate.
